About Me
I’m 52 and lived with an alcoholic husband for 12 years before making the decision two years ago to leave and pick up the pieces. My children (two grown boys) and I still struggle with the aftermath.
I’m blogging because I know there are many many others out there like me and I wanted to create a place where we could talk about going on with our lives. There is sunshine, laughter, and life out there. We just have to find it.
I blog anonymously to protect the privacy of my ex and my children. I use a snail for my profile picture because it symbolises the slow steady progress I am making towards serenity and happiness.
